WHAT’S A HACKATHON ?

Hackathons are events where people compete to build interesting projects in just over 40 hours. People come together, form teams, brainstorm, share ideas, and help each other build awesome things. All skill levels are highly welcome, so don’t be intimidated if you don’t feel your coding is up to scratch.

CAN I PRESENT AN IDEA ?

You are welcome to present your own idea as long as it fulfills the set criteria set out in the guidelines

WHERE WILL THE HACKATHON TAKE PLACE ?

CYENS Centre of Excellence, 23 Dimarchou Lellou Demetriade Square (ex Dimarchias Square), 1016 Nicosia.

CAN I PARTICIPATE ?

You are welcome to participate as long as you bring your own idea to life and follow our simple guidelines!

DO I NEED TO HAVE A TEAM ?

You can form your own team before the event. However, people usually join without a team and we help them find one. This provides the participants with the chance to meet new people with similar interests.

HOW CAN I BE IN TOUCH WITH MY TEAM ?

Everyone will keep in touch through regularly updating their Slack and social media platforms so that others would know what they are working on. Work of the projects will be published at the end of the Hackathon after obtaining the consent of the teams.

HOW CAN I BE IN TOUCH WITH THE EVENT ORGANIZERS ?

If you are a participant keep in touch on Slack. Please direct all other inquiries to [email protected] with the subject ReInHerit Hackathon.
